During class time, Kevin will give you two ways to write an opinion comment. You should do one of them.

Kevin will explain how to create an account. You should then write your opinion re. Kevin's post on Surgical Masks. You have to be registered in order to post a comment or reply to a post. The interesting thing about commenting here is that people from all over Japan and even the world may see your comment and reply to you. They are not always polite (but usually they are). I would like to suggest that you show your comment to Kevin first on Google Docs so we can check spelling and grammar. If your comment is well-written, you are more likely to get an upvote or a reply. You don't need to write your real name on the comment. Your log in name is all you need.
2) On this English Every Day blog site. Read the article below from The Japan Times. It's about the trend of young men in Japan trying to look pretty. Write your opinion in the comment box, like we often do, and don't forget to write your name at the end. - Kevin

I think men's cosmetic is not for men, because cosmetic makes became woman! So I can't understanding.

I think good. But I don't like to know these think. Man has good skin, it's really wonderful and if I see a man, I will fall in love him. But I don't want to know his effort. Because if I find this effort, I will think he is woman. I hate that man put on makeup.

I think men use cosmetics is strange. Women use cosmetics is ordinary so men doesn't use cosmetics. I want to stay good-looking for men.

I think hair and face care is good. Nice hair and face make good impression.I agree with that.However,make up perfectedly is not good. Nice skin and eyebrow is ok but eyeliner and red lips are not.

I often use surgical masks. Why, because sometimes I have sick. if I don't wear mask and go to school, I think I will give sick for other people. Of course you could not hear clearly but if I don't wear mask, some people absent next class. That problem.

I think so,kevin. The use of surgical masks has greatly increased and the masks seems muffle the sounds even further. We needn't it. We can overcome illnesses without it. -Daichi
